Bereit für den Spaß
Die Classic-Rock Band „new fancy“ wurde im Herbst 2006 in Hannover gegründet, doch ihre Wurzeln reichen in die 1970er Jahre zurück. new fancy ist die Re-Union der Jahre international bekannten hannoverschen Hardrock-Band „Désirée“. Die vier Bandmitglieder (Leadsänger Lothar Mühleis, Gitarrist Michael Werner, Bassist Reza-René Mertens und Schlagzeuger Peter Rothe) hatten in dieser Formation zusammengespielt und ihre Idee war, mit Désirée-Songmaterial wieder gemeinsam zu touren.
Immer offen für Neues und weil schon bei den ersten Proben mit mächtig viel Spaß gecovert wurde, erweiterte new fancy ihr Live-Programms auch für bekannte Rock-Hits anderer Interpreten dieser Zeit. Natürlich kommen die Songs der alten „Désirée“ dennoch nicht zu kurz und so umfasst das Repertoire von new fancy auch einige Juwelen aus der eigenen Bandgeschichte der Musiker.
Bei dieser Mischung aus Power-Rock und Rock-Ballads ist mit „new fancy“ Stimmung programmiert.
Kurzum: Neuer Name, neues Programm, neuer Fun !!!
The classic rock band "New Fancy" was founded in Hanover in autumn 2006, but its roots go back to the 1970s. New Fancy is the reunion of the internationally renowned Hanoverian hard rock band "Désirée". The four band members (lead singer Lothar Mühleis, guitarist Michael Werner, bassist Reza-René Mertens and drummer Peter Rothe) had played together in this formation and their idea was to tour together again with Désirée song material. Always open to new ideas and because they already had a lot of fun covering songs during the first rehearsals, New Fancy expanded their live program to include well-known rock hits by other artists of the time. Of course, the songs of "Désirée" are not neglected and so New Fancy's repertoire also includes some gems from the musicians' own band history. With this mixture of power rock and rock ballads, "New Fancy" is guaranteed to set the mood. In short: New name, new program, new fun !!!
