Mitreißender Classic Rock, starke Stimmen und ehrliche Live‑Power: New Fancy gehören zu den Bands, die man erlebt haben muss. Am 14. Oktober 2026 kommt die Formation nach Hannover in den Kulturpalast (Deisterstr. 24) und bringt einen Abend voller Energie, Spielfreude und zeitloser Rock‑Atmosphäre auf die Bühne.
New Fancy wurde 2006 in Hannover gegründet und vereint Musiker, die bereits in den 70er und frühen 80er Jahren mit ihrer Hardrock‑Band Désirée international für Aufmerksamkeit sorgten. Heute knüpfen sie an diese Tradition an – mit einem Programm, das eigene Klassiker aus der Désirée‑Ära ebenso umfasst wie ausgewählte Rock‑Hits jener Zeit und Songs ihrer 2016 veröffentlichten CD "Turn me on".
Die Band verbindet Erfahrung, musikalische Qualität und Leidenschaft, die jedes Konzert zu einem besonderen Erlebnis macht. Ihre Live‑Show bietet eine kraftvolle Mischung aus Power‑Rock und Rock‑Balladen, die das Publikum mitreißt und die Zeit vergessen lässt. Einige der historischen Désirée‑Titel, die damals auf den LPs Make it with a smile und Désirée Tapes erschienen, sind heute wieder live zu hören und schlagen die Brücke zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart.
Rousing classic rock, powerful vocals, and raw live energy: New Fancy is one of those bands you simply have to experience live. On October 14, 2026, the band will be coming to Kulturpalast / Hannover-Linden to deliver an evening full of energy, enthusiasm, and a timeless rock atmosphere.
New Fancy was founded in Hanover in 2006 and brings together musicians who first gained international attention in the ’70s and early ’80s with their hard rock band Désirée. Today, they carry on that tradition—with a setlist that includes their own classics from the Désirée era as well as selected rock hits from that time and from their CD "Turn me on" published in 2016.
The band combines experience, musical quality, and passion, making every concert a special experience. Their live show offers a powerful mix of power rock and rock ballads that captivates the audience and makes them lose track of time. Some of the historic Désirée tracks, which originally appeared on the LPs "Make it with a smile" and "Désirée Tapes", can now be heard live again, bridging the gap between the past and the present.
